Tryba Architects is a Denver-based design firm with a national reputation for excellence in the integration of architecture, interior design, urban design, and preservation. Our interiors practice provides a full scope of services including programming, interior architecture, material and finish selection, FF&E, art integration, and furnishing coordination.
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Interior Architect with 10+ years of experience in workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, and commercial interiors. The ideal candidate is a strong design thinker with demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through construction administration. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience coordinating clients, consultants, and project teams across complex interior architecture projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead interior architecture projects through all phases, from programming and concept design through construction administration and installation
- Develop thoughtful, highly crafted workplace environments grounded in client culture, wellness, flexibility, and connection to place
- Lead client presentations, workshops, and coordination meetings
- Develop specifications for furnishings, fixtures, and materials
- Research, select, and detail products for client approval
- Apply critical design thinking and architectural knowledge throughout the process
- Guide and mentor junior staff to foster professional growth
- Steward and maintain client relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited program
- 10+ years of professional experience in workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, multifamily, or commercial interiors
- Strong design sensibility with demonstrated experience leading complex interior architecture projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit/BIM workflows
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, interior detailing, building systems, materials, and specifications
- Experience leading consultant coordination and client-facing project delivery
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and project scales
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- NCIDQ, Registered Interior Designer, or Architect licensure preferred
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation preferred
