Trust Relationship Specialist
About the role
The Trust Relationship Specialist at Regions provides general and clerical administrative support to individuals or the trust department, handling routine inquiries, account management, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Responds to routine customer and internal account inquiries, performs necessary research, and follows up promptly
- Communicates with clients and internal partners regarding account openings, closings, asset transfers, and fees
- Creates and maintains proper account documentation and organizes account-related materials according to prescribed systems
- Processes complex trust transactions efficiently
- Makes complex cash and asset distributions from account closings
- Monitors accounts for overdrafts or large balances and reports findings to leadership
- Forecasts client cash needs and provides liquidity estimates to the relationship team
- Performs complex research for tax compliance and asset transfer issues
- Adheres to internal and external regulatory requirements, standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Creates and organizes PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
- Attends client meetings with Trust Officers and performs special projects as assigned
- Assists and guides less experienced Specialists
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five (5) years Trust or related experience
Preferences
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field
- Experience in trust administration with a solid understanding of trust office processes
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in computer software systems including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance impact pay for individual associates. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
- Minimum Job Range: $50,500.00 USD
- Median: $63,650.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans
This position is not incentive eligible.
