About the role

The primary function of the Trust Client Specialist is to provide sales and administrative support to an individual or small group of individuals, relieving them of clerical, administrative and business detail. The Trust Client Specialist will assist Trust Officers in the administration and management of various types of accounts including Trusts, retirement accounts, investment management accounts, estates, etc. Support includes direct contact with clients and internal partners in all aspects of the client relationship from onboarding to day-to-day account management, compliance and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Variety of account maintenance tasks such as opening and closing accounts, setting up contact records, statements, disbursement and receipt ticklers, and account coding.
  • Preparation of various forms under the guidance of the Trust Officer.
  • Processing cash transactions using Trust and bank systems, including incoming checks, bill payments, account-to-account transfers.
  • Initiating and monitoring asset transfers between institutions.
  • Gathering and distributing tangible and intangible assets.
  • Scanning and uploading documents for compliance purposes.
  • Direct client contact, serving as a liaison between the client and Trust Officer.
  • Being organized, meeting deadlines, and processing requests with accuracy.
  • Serving as a backup in the absence of the Trust Officer.
  • Supporting new business development efforts through client contact and referrals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be incredibly organized.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and organization are critical skills.

Skills

  • Knowledge of trust administration processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 5PM
