- Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to clients on all aspects of trust and estate law, including wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on complex trust and estate matters.
- Represent clients in court and before government agencies, as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in trust and estate law and inform clients of any changes that may affect their estate plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service at all times.
- Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a trust and estate attorney.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Demonstrated expertise in trust and estate law, including wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
