We are seeking an experienced Permanent Trust and Estates Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in our firm, working on a wide variety of complex trust and estate matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel and guidance to our clients on all aspects of trust and estate law, including wills, trusts, and estate planning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on all aspects of trust and estate law, including wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on complex trust and estate matters.
  • Represent clients in court and before government agencies, as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in trust and estate law and inform clients of any changes that may affect their estate plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service at all times.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a trust and estate attorney.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in trust and estate law, including wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.

Pay

$130,000 - $160,000 per year
