About the role
The Trust Administrative Assistant works as an administrative assistant to the Trust Officers, executes high-level and critical requests, interacts with customers, services accounts, and resolves operational issues ranging from simple to complex. This position is located at 50 S. 200 E., Salt Lake City, UT.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- General Duties
- Assist Trust Officers with routine administrative tasks.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Trust Duties
- Establish and maintain trust, tax, real estate, and contract files for trust accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax documents.
- Prepare trust distribution documents.
- Prepare and track authorizations on trust accounts.
- Administer real estate assets: pay property taxes and insurance, inspect real estate properties.
- Prepare wires to fund real estate related transactions.
- Complete transfers between Bank accounts and trust accounts.
- Transfer and track assets as they move in and out of the department.
- Receipt and deliver assets and documents in and out of the trust vault.
- Close out trust files to place in storage.
- Apply for and obtain trust tax ID numbers.
- Assist in the probate of estates.
- Obtain valuation of trust assets.
- Set up and maintain beneficiary information.
- Process new account files.
- Maintain existing client and audit files.
- Process and review trade requests and confirm they were completed correctly.
- Process checks from customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Trust Administrative Assistant or related experience.
- Computer literacy including: Trust software programs, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proven and excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Must be hard working and self-motivated.

Pay
The wage listed is within the range associated with this position. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
