About the role
We are seeking a Truss Design Technician to support sales and engineering teams by designing floor and roof trusses using specialized software.
Responsibilities
- Creating truss layouts from architectural and structural drawings
- Interpreting blueprints
- Collaborating with engineering, production, and sales to develop and refine designs
- Ensuring compliance with codes and standards
- Developing component documents for manufacturing
- Ensuring adherence to safety policies
- Participating in ongoing training to maintain high-quality standards
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of truss design experience
- Knowledge of construction, building products, and building codes

Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Alpine Design software, and Microsoft Office
