Requirements
- 10-15 years in MiTek
- Previous management experience in the building material industry preferred.
- Knowledgeable in the basic aspects of construction.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledgeable in reading architectural and structural plans.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work activities.
- Strong work knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Staff Management
- Responsible for setting the direction and managing areas of employment such as hiring, communication, motivation, discipline, separation, and other areas. Ensures goals are outlined for employees and are met.
- Designing
- Creates design illustrations based on blueprints to produce working drawings for fabrication. Completes and finalizes designs for production and assembly. Evaluates designs to ensure that design standards are being met.
- Analyzes and Troubleshoots
- Reviews and analyzes specifications, blueprints, engineered drawings and related designs to determine factors affecting design of the wall, truss and engineered wood components.
- Support
- Communicates with production teams, customers, and Store Managers to ensure designs are accurate throughout the process. Assists stores in responding to questions/concerns from customers.
