Truss Builder

Responsibilities

• Built roof trusses for Clayton Home Building Facilities.
• Read cut sheets and blueprints to build trusses meeting NTA regulations.
• Ensure proper setup of jigs, cords, parts, and nails according to individual truss blueprints.
• Place nails correctly, manage overhangs, and install king posts on each unit.
• Meet production targets while maintaining high quality.
• Repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operate a hydraulic press.
• Work effectively with a partner.
• Show honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude.
• Model teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and cut sheets.
• Experience operating a hydraulic press.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with partners.
