Responsibilities
- Assemble trusses to customer specifications.
- Work within assigned work group.
- Transfer and stage materials, assist in production of truss components and prepare or stage completed truss materials for shipping.
- Operate Mitek, web saws and indexing conveyors to produce wood materials for truss assembly.
- May assist Machine Support in verifying correct material is ready for cutting and assembly.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Follow safety programs and ensure compliance of OSHA regulation.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions.
- Alertness and adaptation to warehouse routines is required.
- Must understand OSHA regulations and assist with compliance.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prefer three (3) years work experience.
