About the role

Build What Flies: Join Us as an Aerospace Assembler. PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire detail‑driven assemblers who will play a hands‑on role in producing high‑quality aerospace components. Your craftsmanship and focus will directly support products that demand the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect components and products to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and change over production equipment.
• Use microscopes for extended periods while handling small, intricate parts.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and travelers.
• Record, analyze, and report production and quality data.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Comply with all safety rules and cleanroom protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and production.
• Support the Operating System and site operational goals.

Requirements

• English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Computer literacy.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience within the past 5 years (2–3+ year tenure preferred).
• Comfort and ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing a full‑body suit, face mask, eye protection, gloves, and anti‑static bracelet.
• Comfort using a microscope for hours at a time.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination, fine motor skills, and manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using precision hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, travelers, or technical documentation.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay

Pay Rate: $27.32 per hour.

Subco Bonus Program – Earn up to $3,000: $1,000 at 30 days, $1,000 at 60 days, $1,000 at 90 days (total potential bonus $3,000).

Schedule

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4×10, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
