About the Role
Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry, and TRUFASTWalls® for exterior building envelopes and facades. This position will provide technical services for TRUFAST® products across a defined geographical area. Services include but are not limited to pull tests, job starts, product training, and demos. The role also includes sales calls on customer branch locations. This is a remote position; regular travel is expected within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
Strategic Initiatives
- Work with the sales leadership to ensure the overall TRUFAST® technical services strategy is clearly defined and understood throughout the TRUFAST® customer network.
- Ensure timely field service response for OEM regional customers in concert with their contractors.
- Plan successful regional integration of training with any new products or initiatives.
- Contact and establish relationships with key customers.
Communication & Support
- Ensure regional coverage of all technical service needs through communication with TRUFAST® Independent Reps, sales leadership, and District Sales Network.
- Promote strong dialogue and coordination for technical services required by Regional OEM, distribution, and contractor customers.
- Communicate key issues to sales leadership.
- Ensure all technical-related activity is focused on TRUFAST® brand initiatives.
- Work with sales leadership to target and aggressively focus on the long-term TRUFAST® sales plan.
- Look for opportunities to promote TRUFAST® products at job sites.
- Manage travel including appropriate scheduling and monthly expense reports.

Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of industry background.
- Experience in a previous customer service role is required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making ability in the spirit of teamwork.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, dedicated work ethic, and high integrity.
- Self-directed with excellent time management skills.
- Exhibits professional conduct with the utmost integrity.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Cannot be afraid of heights; must be able to climb ladders, work on a roof, and work in inclement weather on job sites.
Travel
- Significant travel is required.
Physical Requirements
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.
- Frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally climb ladders and walk on roofs and on different slopes.
