Truck Washer

Pay

$25 per hour. The expected base rate for this role is between $25 and $26.50, with overtime compensation where applicable.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, with flexibility required for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash exterior of tractors and interior of trailers
• Move equipment around the truck yard
• Check oil, wash windows, check tire pressures, and maintain proper fluid levels in tractors and Thermo-King units
• Report service issues to the maintenance shop
• Log assigned jobs in and out of the ShopFax maintenance system
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and government guidelines
• Attend all required company meetings and training
• Work with fuel tractors and Thermo-King units
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with EPA and OSHA regulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet
• Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Frequently climb up to Thermo-King units

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
• Valid state Driver’s License
• Ability to drive and operate fleet equipment, tractors, trailers, and service vehicles
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Computer experience
• Demonstrated teamwork skills and ability to communicate with co-workers and drivers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
