Truck Washer 2nd Shift

About the role

The Truck Washer reports to the Fleet Maintenance Manager and Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for providing proper cleaning, detailing, and overall cleanliness of the existing operational fleet.

Responsibilities

• Performs washing of the body and chassis of light and heavy-duty units.
• Details interior and exterior using wax, Armor All, Windex, and other products.
• Drives and parks units on site using proper backing procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Consistently behaves in a manner that is appropriate and professional.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Acceptable Driver’s Record.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English / Spanish.
• 1-2 years’ experience in heavy truck equipment and light-duty truck washing and detailing.
• Ability to read and comprehend parts breakdown books.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Physical: Standing, walking, seeing, hearing, and smelling continuously. Problem-solving, oral communication, analytical ability, and concentration continuously. Eye/hand coordination, handling, and wrist motion continuously. Bending, reaching, stretching, interpersonal abilities, and lifting up to 75 lbs. frequently. Handling and lifting the pressure washer hose.
• Environmental: Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, grease, oil, chemicals, wet slippery surfaces, hot/cold conditions, and noise continuously. Works outside and inside.

Schedule

Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.

Pay

$21.22 per hour.
