Truck Shop Foreman

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose and assist with complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine repairs
• Maintain trucks, trailers, and support equipment to ensure DOT compliance
• Manage parts inventory and vendor relationships
• Prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime
• Enforce company safety policies and shop procedures
• Work closely with operations personnel to meet production schedules

Requirements

• Successfully pass pre-employment drug screening
• 5+ years of heavy truck and diesel mechanic experience
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, air brake systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Must possess your own tools
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is preferred)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Keep up-to-date with DOT regulations and trends
