Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate truck drivers and hauling operations
- Ensure materials are delivered safely and on time
- Perform pre-job planning with project managers
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
- Cookordinate truck maintenance and report repair needs
- Monitor driver performance, attendance, and productivity
- Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring new drivers
- Communicate effectively with project managers and field personnel
- Respond quickly to scheduling changes and job site issues
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in asphalt construction, trucking, or related heavy civil construction
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and trucking operations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including seasonal overtime
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
