Truck Sales Representative

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect and maintain customer relationships.
  • Stay informed on market trends and customer needs.
  • Develop strategies to secure orders.
  • Utilize specifications program.
  • Coincide with internal departments (parts, service, finance/insurance, marketing).
  • Handle customer complaints and follow up on all leads.
  • Report on competitive activity.
  • Stay updated on product offerings.
  • Maintain records and reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong product and industry knowledge (truck/heavy equipment sales preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Proficiency w/ Microsoft suite of programs.
  • High energy and a positive attitude.
  • CDL required or ability to obtain.
  • Experience in direct sales or related industries is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Motivation to succeed.
