Responsibilities
- Drive trucks with valid CDL licenses, including belly dump, lowboy, tanker, mixer, or straight truck.
- Must have and maintain a DOT medical card, acceptable driving record, and required endorsements.
- Pass Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance-free.
- Work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
- Display professional and courteous attitude and communication skills towards all team members and customers.
- Perform daily truck inspections and report needed repairs.
- Transport materials to designated locations safely and with excellent customer service.
- Follow work assignment instructions and supervisor’s orders.
- Control and adjust actions of machines or equipment for steering, guiding, starting, stopping, and controlling movements.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B (straight truck) license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience driving a belly dump, lowboy, tanker, mixer, or straight truck preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance-free.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
- Proficient in performing daily truck inspections and reporting needed repairs.
- Capable of transporting materials safely and providing excellent customer service.
- Comply with company policies regarding drug and alcohol screening.
