Truck Driver – Lumber Delivery

About the role

Local lumber delivery driver responsible for transporting building materials from store locations to customer job sites using a tractor trailer with a 45 ft flatbed and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage forklift for most deliveries
• Handle heavy lifting up to 100 lbs
• Ensure timely completion of daily routes
• Maintain safety and efficiency during deliveries

Schedule

• Typically Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM
• Workdays lasting 10–12 hours
• Occasional half-day Saturdays may be required

Pay

Earn between $60,000–$70,000 annually, with increasing pay as skills and experience grow. Earnings are commission-based on delivery fees.

Qualifications

• Must reside within 30 minutes of the location
• At least two years of safe driving experience
• City driving experience preferred
• Forklift experience is advantageous
