Truck Driver - Class B Hazmat- Penske Logistics
Immediate opportunities for full-time local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers with an average annual pay of $76,000 and a $3,000 retention bonus.
About the role
You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. You will deliver automobile parts to retail stores and unload palletized freight using a pallet jack.
Responsibilities
- Deliver automobile parts to retail stores
- Unload palletized freight with a pallet jack
- Represent Penske and client brands professionally while driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms
- Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
- Operate vehicle safely and maintain a constant state of alertness
- Accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others

- Monday through Friday
- 10:00 PM start time
- Home daily

- Average annual pay: $76,000
- $3,000 retention bonus

Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (required by federal law for compliance with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Ability to work the required schedule and location
- Complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to see and hear, with specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and the rear cargo area
