Truck Driver - Class A Hazmat - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay: $96,000. Local, home daily. Hazmat endorsement required within 30 days of hire; reimbursement provided.

About the role

You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. Routes include multi-store deliveries where drivers are responsible for unloading their trailers using pallet jacks.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Dispatch between 10 pm and 1 am

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• English language proficiency (required by federal law for compliance with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location
• Complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
