Truck Driver - Class A Entry Level

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, shuttle, and overnight routes.
• Deliver and/or unload food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, answering questions accurately and promptly.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspect tractors and trailers for compliance with DOT regulations.
• Report and address safety issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Load and unload products, verify deliveries, collect payments, and manage customer returns.
• Complete daily records of hours of service and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and trailers.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 0-6 months commercial tractor/trailer experience
• Valid CDL-A
• At least 21 years old
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test
• Able to obtain or maintain a DOT Health Card
• Able to lift and move product cases/freight weighing between 10-90 pounds
