About the role

Home daily on a dedicated route delivering parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule

  • Tuesday through Saturday
  • 12:30 AM start time

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
  • English language proficiency (required by federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location
  • Complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner (safety-sensitive position regulated by the Department of Transportation)

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
  • Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
  • Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
