Pay
Weekly pay starts at $1,500 or more. Bonus of $3,500 within the first year. Hourly rate $28.45 per hour. Typical schedule is 40+ hours per week.
Schedule
Work days: Monday – Friday. Start time: 6:00 PM. Hours per week: 40+ hours. Route: Home daily delivering to NY, PA, NJ, CT.
Equipment
- 26' straight truck
- Lift gate, pallet jack, hand dolly
- Freight type: HVAC equipment (touch)
- Hazmat endorsement obtainable within 90 days

Requirements
- Minimum age 21
- Pass Ryder drug test and background/motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years)
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (Class A or Class B)
- Class A or B verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Hazmat endorsement obtainable within 90 days
- Additional screening may be required (employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, customer‑specific background requirements)
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load and unload freight, or assist with loading/unloading when required by the customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
