Truck Driver CDL A No Touch Solo

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cincinnati, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay

• $2,050+ weekly average driver positions pay
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per mile with 2000 - 3000 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $50.00 per stop with 8 to 10 stops per week
• Per Diem Pay: $45.00 per night with up to 3 nights per week
• $35 detention pay
• $37.00 drop/hook at wash pay - 5 per week
• Sign-on Bonus: $4000; $2000 at 30 days, $2000 at 90 days
• Safety Bonus: $4500; $1500 at 3 months, $1500 at 6 months, and $1500 at 9 months

Schedule

• Monday – Friday; Rotating Sunday dispatch 2 times per month
• Start Time: 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM

About the Role

• Route: Regional with 2 - 3 layovers per week
• Deliver solo to: OH, MI, IN, PA, WV, MS, AL, GA, IL, TN, AR, SC, NC, KY
• Trailer Type: Liquid Tanker
• Freight: No touch – driver will connect hoses and pressurize trailer with assistance
• Tractor Type: Sleeper; Manual Transmission (must be able to operate or willing to have restriction removed; Ryder will train)
• Endorsements: Tanker required, Hazmat preferred (Ryder will train and help you obtain Hazmat)
• Must have 6 months to 1 year of Tanker experience
• Cannot accept automatic restriction

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
