Pay

• Weekly pay averaging $1,788 or more
• W-2 annual earnings: $91,000/year
• Paid training

Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday
• Start time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• 55+ hours per week
• Home daily

About the Role

• Solo driving with local and Canada routes
• Day cab tractor, dry van trailers (48', 53')
• No-touch freight: paper rolls
• Passport or enhanced license required (Ryder provides $100 reimbursement after interview)
• Well-maintained trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and nationwide fueling at over 800 locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within the last 10 years
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions and interpret laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency laws/regulations
• Detect and minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer
• Perform other assigned duties
