Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Niagara Falls, NY — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel proud of.

Pay

• $1,788 or more per week (W-2 equivalent: $91,000/year)
• Weekly pay averaging $1,788
• Paid training
• $100 reimbursement after your interview to help cover the cost of a Passport or Enhanced License

Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday
• Start Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• 55+ hours per week
• Home daily

About the Role

• Solo driving for local and Canada deliveries
• Route: Local
• Tractor Type: Day Cab
• Trailer Type: Dry Van (48', 53’)
• Freight: No Touch — Paper Rolls
• Operate well-maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer)
• Autonomy on the road with strong support behind the scenes

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/Unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background check, and Motor Vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Some positions may require additional screening, such as employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, or customer-specific badging/background requirements
