Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Niagara Falls, NY — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel proud of.
Pay
- $1,788 or more per week (W-2 equivalent: $91,000/year)
- Weekly pay averaging $1,788
- Paid training
- $100 reimbursement after your interview to help cover the cost of a Passport or Enhanced License

Schedule
- Sunday - Thursday
- Start Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- 55+ hours per week
- Home daily

About the Role
- Solo driving for local and Canada deliveries
- Route: Local
- Tractor Type: Day Cab
- Trailer Type: Dry Van (48', 53’)
- Freight: No Touch — Paper Rolls
- Operate well-maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer)
- Autonomy on the road with strong support behind the scenes
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/Unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background check, and Motor Vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Some positions may require additional screening, such as employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, or customer-specific badging/background requirements
