Deliver SOLO within a 150‑mile radius of Lancaster PA, local home‑daily routes using day‑cab tractors pulling 53‑ft dry vans equipped with pallet jack and rolling carts. Ryder provides training on all equipment needed to be successful, handling tailgate deliveries for US Mail. Drivers operate well‑maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations. Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
