Pay
- Weekly average pay: $1,380
- Hourly pay: $31.34 per hour + $6.16 per hour Health & Wellness Stipend
- Hours per week: 33-46
- Paid training
Schedule
- 7-day operation with 1-2 days off per week
- Start time: Primarily 8:45 PM - 11:45 PM
About the Role
- Local home daily route within a 150-mile radius of Eagan, MN
- Tractor type: Day cabs
- Trailer type: Dry Van 53’
- Equipment provided: Pallet jack & rolling carts (Ryder will train on all equipment)
- Freight: Tailgate deliveries – US Mail
- Operate well-maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
