Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Oklahoma City, OK — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career with home-daily routes.

About the role

Deliver solo with a home-daily route in Oklahoma. Operate well-maintained, safe day-cab tractors (manual or automatic transmission) hauling flatbed trailers with brick and building supplies. Moffet equipment provided; strapping only, no tarping required. Drivers make safety decisions and receive 24/7 roadside maintenance support.

Pay

  • Hourly pay: $25.81 per hour
  • Weekly pay: $1,000 per week (based on 40+ hours)
  • Paid training
  • Up to $2,400 in bonuses

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday; occasional Saturdays
  • Start time: 7:00 AM

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
  • Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
  • Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
  • Verifiable tractor-trailer experience:
    • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years within the last 10 years
  • 6 months of flatbed experience required
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
