Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Oklahoma City, OK — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career with home-daily routes.
About the role
Deliver solo with a home-daily route in Oklahoma. Operate well-maintained, safe day-cab tractors (manual or automatic transmission) hauling flatbed trailers with brick and building supplies. Moffet equipment provided; strapping only, no tarping required. Drivers make safety decisions and receive 24/7 roadside maintenance support.
Pay
- Hourly pay: $25.81 per hour
- Weekly pay: $1,000 per week (based on 40+ hours)
- Paid training
- Up to $2,400 in bonuses
Schedule
- Monday – Friday; occasional Saturdays
- Start time: 7:00 AM

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience:
- 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years within the last 10 years
- 6 months of flatbed experience required
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
