About the role
Intermodal CDL-A Driver responsible for local and regional routes, providing high-quality service with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate automatic transmission trucks
- Handle a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight
- Work 10-12 hour shifts for 5 days, with optional 6th day for extra pay
- Ensure timely deliveries and maintain safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service while managing local and regional freight movements
Route Details
- Service routes up to 150-200 miles from the rail yard
- Occasional overnight stays
- Starting and ending at the designated yard
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with 3+ months of experience
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass a DOT drug screen
- Reliable transportation to and from the yard
Not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees.
Schedule
- 10-12 hour shifts
- 5 days per week, with optional 6th day for extra pay
