Truck Driver - CDL-A

About the Role

Seeking local CDL-A Truck Drivers to operate dry van trailers delivering auto-parts within a 500-600 mile radius of Fort Wayne, IN. The position offers home daily schedules, with routes from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, accommodating AM or PM start times. Drivers will handle no-touch freight, requiring strong backing skills, and will perform deliveries with a tractor-trailer and dry van equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport auto-parts safely and efficiently to designated local destinations
• Perform drop and hook deliveries, earning pay per stop and per mile
• Adhere to safety standards and make safety decisions on the job
• Maintain proper documentation and vehicle inspection routines

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements
• Minimum 21 years of age
• At least 9 months of recent tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the past 10 years
• Ability to pass Ryder’s drug test, road test, DOT physical, background, and motor vehicle checks
