Responsibilities
- Transport materials to and from designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Pick up full containers and unload in designated locations.
- Secure loads according to Department of Transportation guidelines.
- Maintain contact with Dispatch and Truck Drivers to get assignments and properly report trip numbers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A license.
- General knowledge of State and Federal motor carrier regulations.
- General knowledge of mechanics involving trucks and trailers.
- Ability to operate the vehicle safely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues and provide solutions.
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.
- Customer service skills.
- Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.

Work Environment
This role requires PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, high-visibility gear, and ear protection. Expect exposure to dust, fumes, and noise in a fast-paced recycling environment.
