Truck Driver

About the Role

As a Truck Driver with Dart Container, you'll be an essential part of our logistics team, delivering products safely and efficiently to customers across the country. Our Drivers are valued for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our customers and are seen as essential to our success.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with trailer inter/intrastate to pick up and/or deliver merchandise safely.
• Ensure possession of all appropriate documentation, including registration and vehicle inspection reports.
• Couple, uncouple, connect airlines, etc., and safely maneuver equipment in difficult situations such as narrow passageways and within urban areas.
• Prioritize safety above all else, following all regulations and protocols to ensure a secure journey for yourself and others on the road.
• May be required to, or assist with, loading or unloading vendor merchandise.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver License) with a favorable driving record.
• Ability to meet and maintain local, state, and federal DOT and FMCSA regulations as required.
• Must be physically qualified under US DOT regulations (Part 391).
