About the Role
This position involves operating local CDL-B box trucks, delivering touch freight (newspapers) to Maine, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate manual pallet jack-equipped trucks.
- Complete daily deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Make independent safety decisions as the driver, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Participate in paid training and adhere to company standards.
- Maintain trucks and equipment, utilizing roadside support and maintenance facilities.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL license.
- At least 9 months of recent driving experience.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Ability to pass drug tests, background checks, DOT physical, and road tests.
- Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills.
