Truck Driver

APTIM Federal Services, LLC has several projects at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA, involving investigation, excavation, and restoration of properties with environmentally and radiologically impacted soil, shoreline restoration, and seawall construction. These projects pay the Federal prevailing wage scale (Davis-Bacon Act).

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Heavy Truck Driver capable of operating 12-to-15-yard dump trucks and 2000 gal to 4000 gal water trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and water trucks in a safe and proficient manner
• Ensure proper maintenance and fueling of vehicles
• Maintain daily documentation of inspections and other required paperwork
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment
• Perform other duties, including periodic labor, as required

Requirements

• Possess proper state-required driver's license and successfully pass DMV audits
• Dependable transportation and cell phone service
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Minimum 3 years' relevant construction experience
• Live locally (daily commute) to Hunter's Point

Qualifications

Preferred applicant will have current OSHA HAZWOPER training.

Pay

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $35 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
