Truck Driver (10001 lbs plus) (Friday - Sunday)
Launch your career as a Truck Driver with Wesco. We are hiring immediately for a non-CDL Driver and will teach you about distribution and supply chain techniques valued by Fortune 250 companies around the globe.
About the role
As a Truck Driver, you will transport cargo to and from specified destinations, prepare and manage delivery documentation, and ensure timely service. This role operates on a weekend shift with multiple options available:
- Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday - Sunday: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
- Maintain contact with dispatcher for delivery or pick-up instructions
- Verify contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Maintain records in accordance with regulations
- Perform emergency repairs (e.g., changing tires, installing light bulbs)
- Present bills, receipts, and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with a "satisfactory" driving record
- Applicable truck driver license for your state
- 2 years of truck driving experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Forklift experience
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Near, far, and night vision
- Ability to distinguish differences in pitch and loudness of sounds
- Quick response to signals (sound, light, picture) using hands, fingers, or feet

Pay
$21.04 - $29.47 per hour. Offer amounts may vary based on geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or collective bargaining agreements. Eligible positions may include participation in bonus or sales incentive plans.
