Truck Driver (10001 lbs plus)
Launch your career as a Truck Driver with Wesco. We are hiring immediately for a non-CDL Driver and will teach you about distribution and supply chain techniques valued by Fortune 250 companies globally.
About the role
As a Truck Driver, you will transport cargo to and from specified destinations, prepare and manage delivery documentation, and ensure timely service. This role is foundational to enabling the connected world by helping turn on the power.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
- Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick-up instructions
- Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
- Maintain records in accordance with regulations
- Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs
- Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded
- Must have a "satisfactory" driving record and applicable truck driver license for the state
Requirements
- Valid Truck Driver license
- 2 years of truck driving experience
- Forklift experience
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Vision: near, far, night
- Ability to detect differences in sounds varying in pitch and loudness
- Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture)

Pay
$19.13 - $22.96 per hour. Offer amounts may vary based on geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or collective bargaining agreements.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
