Truck Body Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Collision repair
• Fabrication and welding
• Bondo work
• Installation and alignment of cab components
• Repairing damage to fiberglass, composites, steel, and aluminum
• Windshield replacements
• Priming, sealing, and painting
• Replacing fenders, panels, bumpers, and other body parts

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: You must have your own tools
• 4+ years doing Bondo work
• 4+ years in collision repair
• Collision repair certification a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Collision repair experience on Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt trucks

Physical Demands

• Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces to properly inspect and diagnose problems

• Using hands to handle, control or feel
• Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds

Work Experience

• 4+ years doing Bondo work
• 4+ years in collision repair
