About the role

This is an unpaid position.

Responsibilities

• Attend bi-weekly meetings for 4 hours each, maintaining a 70% attendance rate.
• Participate in classroom instruction, scenario-based training, and specialty team demonstrations.
• Volunteer at community events.
• Engage in educational instruction on topics like wellness, law enforcement, and professional development.
• Participate in scenario-based practical exercises.
• Receive leadership training and gain experience in leadership roles and public speaking.
• Participate in competitions with other police explorer programs.
• Participate in community events.

Qualifications

• Must be between the ages of 14 - 21 years old.
• Have good academic standing (2.0+ GPA).
• No felony convictions.
• Excellent moral character.
