About the role

LanguageLine Solutions is a company dedicated to breaking down language and cultural barriers. We employ interpreters to help limited-English speakers, the Deaf, and the Hard-of-Hearing communicate effectively. Our interpreters work remotely from their homes, serving clients in various industries including healthcare, law enforcement, and finance.

Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render accurate interpretations between Trique and English speakers
• Adapt to different accents and dialects to ensure clear communication
• Provide cultural sensitivity and respect in all interactions
• Work in various industries including healthcare, insurance, and finance
• Respond to calls involving sensitive topics like end-of-life conversations and legal matters

Requirements

• Fluency in Trique and English
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Cultural competency and ability to handle sensitive topics
• Education or experience in language-related fields preferred
• Ability to adapt to LLS technology enhancements
• At least 18 years old
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write Trique and English

Pay

$1.25 - $1.40 per minute

Schedule

This is a remote position where interpreters work from their home offices. A quiet and secure environment is essential.
