Trim Coordinator

JOB REQUIREMENTS

As a Trim Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all trim usage/disbursements to and from production lines. You will process and maintain data entry of trim usage.

• Remove barrels, verify correct cheese, and maintain cheese changeovers on Bar/Slice/Stick lines.
• Process and maintain data entry of trim usage.
• Cookout process and maintain data entry of trim usage.
• Coordinate reclaim process.
• Maintain and monitor process trim and verify correct disposition of all trim types.
• Maintain and monitor fish bait.
• Train employees on proper classification of trim product.
• Weigh, seal, and palletize any barrels for process and or shred.
• Operate a stand-up forklift.
• Ensure all process tubs and pans are emptied on shred lines and designated to the correct process barrels throughout the entire shift.

KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESS

• A proven team player but can also work independently as a problem solver.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.
• Working knowledge of RF systems and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Read and comprehend safety warnings and directives related to machinery and production processes.
• Communicate well with people from all walks of life.
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Enjoy a comfortable, climate-controlled facility with clean, cool temperatures.
• Work around modern packaging equipment, including robotic case packers, case erectors, case sealers, and moving belts.
• May create a noisy environment at times.
• Forklifts operate in the packaging area, so awareness and safety are key.

PAY

• Starting wage: \$24.86
• After 90 days: \$26.25
• After 1 year: \$26.71
• Additional \$1.00 shift differential pay.
