About the role
The Tribal Juvenile Intake Officer will assess Tribal youth needing assistance under police protective custody, child in need of care, and disciplinary measures for juvenile offenders. They will also lead grant efforts and serve as the Tribal Amber Alert Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of Tribal youth to determine if they need protective custody, CINC, or disciplinary measures.
- Work with juveniles who have committed crimes or have substance abuse problems.
- Lead grant efforts to ensure effective and efficient processes.
- Ensure all personnel are trained on missing and endangered children and assist in their recovery.
Requirements
- Valid Kansas driver's license free of occupational restrictions.
- Must be insurable with the Nation's insurance carrier.
- 2 years of related experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Preference in employment actions exercised in accordance with applicable law. Applicants must provide proof of eligibility for preference.
