Tribal Forestry Jobs

All positions are temporary and may be filled under Temporary Employment Agreements or Employment Agreements, depending on experience.

Pay

• Forestry Aide: $15.39/hr (GS 3/1) up to $16.93/hr (GS 3/4)
• Forestry Technician I: $17.27/hr (GS 4/1) up to $19.00/hr (GS 4/4)
• Forestry Technician II: $19.33/hr (GS 5/1) up to $21.26/hr (GS 5/4)
• Forester I: $26.51/hr (GS 8/1) up to $29.16/hr (GS 8/4)
• Forester II: $29.28/hr (GS 9/1) up to $32.21/hr (GS 9/4)

Requirements

• Completed Tribal employment application
• Copy of relevant academic transcript or training certifications
• Copy of current valid driver’s license
• Proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe (if other than CSKT)
• DD214 (if claiming Veteran’s preference)

Additional Information

Successful applicants not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and may be subject to random drug testing under the CSKT drug and alcohol policy.
