We offer a wide range of vision care services, including full-scope optometric patient care, ocular disease management, routine comprehensive eye exams, refractive services, and Vision Therapy. Our Optometrists utilize modern technology to deliver the best vision care.
Responsibilities
- Greet all patients with a warm welcome and show urgency in providing service to meet their needs.
- Explore patient needs and priorities, linking them to practice offerings, including eye exams.
- Attend to details, ask clarifying questions, and consult with Opticians as needed.
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge; accurately describe features and benefits of all products using appropriate tools.
- Anticipate problems, explore underlying reasons, and develop long-term solutions.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with competing priorities.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
- Commit to delivery dates and times, set expectations for pick-up, seek feedback, and ask for referrals.
- Express gratitude and thank patients genuinely.
- Strive for exceptional results on goals and competencies.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, inputting patient information accurately.
- Create and tender sales transactions following operational processes and standards.
- Present, celebrate, and educate patients at product pick-up.
- Maintain the appearance of the practice, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
- Secure all company assets under your control.
- Inform management of potential safety opportunities.
- Adhere to attendance and daily timekeeping requirements.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Sell on your feet 80%-100% of the time.
- Maintain proper dress code consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or as business needs arise.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Effective selling skills.
- Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, or other software applications.
- Embrace new technology and change.
- Strong communication and listening skills.

- Eyecare experience.
- Sales experience.
Pay
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
