About the Role

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Trial Site Solutions Director to develop, build, and scale the Beacon Trial Site Network (TSN), a strategic initiative that unites Beacon’s Clinical Trials and Diagnostics businesses. The TSN will recognize high-quality sites for execution excellence and provide them a network to support future pharmaceutical clinical trials, academic grant-funded studies, and diagnostic patients.

This Director will serve as the lead and coordinator of all TSN activities: setting the strategic direction, growing and communicating with the network, designing incentives and recognition, maximizing scientific and clinical value from existing relationships, and directing product and engineering work to support the network at scale. The role reports directly to the Chief Business Officer and coordinates closely with teams spanning Clinical Operations, Business Development, Diagnostics, Product/Engineering, Marketing, and Legal.

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates near Beacon HQ in Boston or another Beacon hub (e.g., New York City). Some travel to sites, sponsors, and internal hubs is required.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategic vision and multi-year direction for the TSN in partnership with Life Sciences and Diagnostics leadership.
  • Set the product vision for TSN-supporting platform capabilities, translating requirements into a single, coherent roadmap.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to prioritize platform capabilities, acting as the primary stakeholder and advocate for site-facing features.
  • Build and oversee a patient recruitment capability to support sponsors and sites, using EHR-based patient matching, tokenized data, historical performance, and site capacity.
  • Match sponsor and study demand to qualified member sites, owning the process that routes opportunities into the network.
  • Define and own the commercial terms of network membership, evaluating economic value for sites (e.g., networking, best practices, recognition, product insights) and for Beacon (data quality, protocol compliance, sponsor confidence).
  • Own institutional relationships, including health system contracting, IRB coordination, and master service agreements, alongside investigator and coordinator relationships.
  • Develop and execute the roadmap and operating model for the TSN, scaling it from an early framework to a fully operational network with clear targets and milestones.
  • Direct the sourcing methodology for candidate sites and refine qualification and certification criteria for membership tiers.
  • Own site-facing communications, including outreach, onboarding, ongoing check-ins, and recertification, ensuring a genuine partnership experience.
  • Establish KPIs, review cadence, decision rights, and pathways for membership tier upgrades/downgrades to provide leadership visibility into network health.
  • Shape how TSN membership is positioned to sponsors and CROs as evidence of site readiness, data quality, and faster study start-up.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare, clinical trials, diagnostics, or another regulated healthcare environment.
  • At least 3 years in a role focused on building, growing, or scaling a network, community, or partner program involving clinics or trial sites.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a structured program from an early framework to full operation, including defining qualification criteria, incentive structures, and a repeatable operating cadence.
  • Strong cross-functional influence skills, with a track record of coordinating engineering, product, marketing, and legal stakeholders toward a shared roadmap without direct authority.
  • Comfort working with data to track performance, calibrate qualification criteria, and report on program health.
  • Experience negotiating or structuring commercial terms with institutional partners, such as health systems, site networks, or similar organizations.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial site feasibility and enrollment considerations, and the ability to translate them into criteria, tooling, or process.
  • Experience with quality or compliance data (e.g., protocol deviations, data quality metrics) to inform tiering or certification decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft outreach and relationship communications that resonate with scientific and clinical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward simplicity and scalability in program design.
  • Empathy for stakeholders across the network, including investigators, coordinators, sponsors, internal teams, and patients.

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is determined based on past experience, specific skills, and qualifications. Total compensation includes an incentive compensation plan, equity, PTO, and other benefits.
