Responsibilities
- Represent clients in various types of insurance claims including property damage, business interruption, and personal injury cases.
- Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and support client cases.
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court and during settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with a team of experts, including engineers, appraisers, and medical professionals, to build strong case narratives.
- Advise clients on insurance policies and coverage options.
- Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely and effective representation.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Louisiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in insurance litigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
While not required, candidates with experience in handling complex insurance claims, particularly those involving water damage, mold remediation, and environmental issues, are preferred.

- Experience with insurance policy interpretation and contract law.
- Knowledge of local and state laws related to insurance claims.
