Triage RN, Endocrinology

Job Summary

Wentworth Health Partners (WHP), an affiliate of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, is growing its Endocrinology team at its state-of-the-art practice located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH. We are currently hiring Triage Registered Nurses for both 32-hour part-time and per diem opportunities.

Responsible for patient care and support

• Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required, Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred, Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development, Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
