About the role

Join our mobile crisis intervention team in Milford. Work in a supportive small team atmosphere as part of a larger organization that is a leader within the mental health care industry. The Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program provides crisis and behavioral health assessment, intervention, and stabilization services 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year (24/7/365) for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The mission of MCI is to respond rapidly, assess effectively, and deliver a course of treatment intended to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize the crisis so the person served can receive medically necessary services in the community or, if needed, in an inpatient or 24‑hour diversionary level of care. The Triage Clinician – MCI works as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team (physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, family partners, recovery coaches) providing core services including crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post‑stabilization. This role is integral to the daily operations of the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention component, serving as the primary point of contact for the MCI program.

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in the field of mental health preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
