Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients’ mental status based on presenting symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues, including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a psychiatric focus.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA registration required).
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation includes base salary and incentive opportunities, with total earnings potential of $195,000+ annually.

Job type: Full-time, W2 (Part-time options available). Travel required between Tri-Cities and Yakima, WA.
